Oh, what a relief it is…

Challenge: How to let parents know of a delayed return from a band trip after one of the busses broke down and limped into a service station.

Solution: After a replacement bus was sent out and everyone was safely on the road again, a cell phone call to Callingpost was all it took to record a message and notify everyone of the new estimated arrival time.

Benefit: Calling Post saved the day again. Parents didn’t worry, or wait in vain at the meeting spot.

"Many students at the elementary school where I teach English as a Second Language are the children of refugee Somalia immigrants who do not speak or read English and communicating with them in a timely fashion has been time intensive and expensive when a bilingual paraprofessional tries to contact each family individually. Using CallingPost, our bilingual staff members can record  messages about field trips, special events, etc. and reach all of the families with the information. Families feel informed and included and their children are prepared for school activities."
