Parents spared worry and unnecessary waiting

Challenge: How to let parents know their Brownies will be late because of highway construction backing up traffic for miles.

Solution: One CallingPost call let the families know about the delay; another gave the new arrival time when traffic finally started moving.

Benefit: Calling Post saved the day again.  Parents didn’t worry, or wait in vain at the meeting spot.

"Our Boy Scout Troop recently went on a camping trip. Friday night was fine, but Saturday the rain started early and the wind gusts just kept coming in waves. We decided it was time to call the trip early. Our Scoutmaster made the call to CallingPost from his cell phone. Before I could leave the parking lot my cell phone was ringing; I knew right then that everyone else would get the message too as we headed back up the Parkway. "
